The behaviors Steve is exhibiting in the example above over time would cause a shift in his health both mentally and physically if he remains in a depressed emotional state.

Make the scene appear so vivid and clear that your body responds to it as if it were real!
Is it safe to assume you felt your desired emotion?
Aren’t you now charged and ready to take an action in alignment with your desires?

I ask myself one simple question every time an obstacle confronts me.
“Do I perceive this as a challenge or a threat?”
Notice how I use the word “choose.”
This is because nothing has meaning until we give meaning to it.
Obstacles are no different.
Choose to view obstacles as a threat, and you’re likely to trigger the fight, flight, or freeze response.
This is a suboptimal reaction to an obstacle and often yields poor outcomes.
Choose to view the same obstacle as a challenge, and you instantly become excited to face this challenge head-on!
